About me and my therapy practice

I am a qualified CPCAB Person Centred Counsellor and trained trauma specialist, as well as a certified Adult Adoption Support Counsellor (I am also an adoptee myself).

I work with adults, teens and children over the age of 12 and hold a Disclosure Barring Service Certificate (DBS).

I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and I adhere to their ethical guidelines in my practice.

I am fully insured and a member of the ICO.

As well as working in private practice, face-to-face, online and on the telephone, I have also been an in house School Counsellor and have volunteered long term for a local charity supporting survivors of sexual violence, domestic abuse and trauma.

My counselling skills and knowledge is constantly updated by my participation in Continued Professional Development Workshops (CPD).

Practice description

Are you feeling anxious, lonely, stressed, depressed, in low mood or unable to cope with the way you are feeling? Struggling with the emotions of an adoption, a relationship breakdown, deceit, trauma, grieving a loved one, or generally struggling in life? if the answer is yes to any of these questions, you are not alone and I would love to help you.

As your counsellor I would work in a non-judgemental, non-opinionated and empathic way.  We would build a therapeutic relationship built on trust and we would work at your pace in a safe and confidential environment.

I really hope to hear from you soon.
