Availability

I currently have availability on various daytime slots on Thursdays and Fridays (between 9.30am - 5pm) for young people (12+) and adult clients.

I work online or face to face.

If you are a full time student or counsellor trainee then I offer reduced rates of £50.

If you need the timings of your sessions to be flexible then please get in touch and we can see whether we can find something that works. (i.e. you may need a longer session, or have breaks in our session if it's too tiring.)

About me and my therapy practice

I chose to be an integrative counsellor because it means that I can tailor sessions to you - and find the best way to support you as a unique individual to find a way through what it is that you want to explore. This often includes trying to make sense of confusing or difficult thoughts or feelings which can feel overwhelming at times.

If you'd like to talk things through, then that's what we can do - or if you'd prefer to express what's going on for you through writing or drawing, or maybe even using figurines or pictures, then that is fine with me. Sometimes it's just too much to try and find the words, and sometimes we don't have the words to begin with! If communication is difficult for you and you need longer sessions, or you need breaks in the sessions, then we can look at that and see what will work best for you.

I've got a background in pastoral care, mentoring, mental health coaching and experience as a counsellor in schools and private practice.

If you'd like to know more, or are ready to meet, then send me a message and we can meet for a free half hour consultation.

Practice description

The standard session I offer is 50 minutes long. However, if you need that to be longer, shorter, or you would like to take a break part way through we can arrange that.

Generally people focus on what's happening for them right now, but often we will explore how you've got here, and how that influences you today. It is entirely up to you what we talk about and where we go - I may offer suggestions if that's helpful, but they are only ever suggestions!

I don't limit the number of session you can have, that is up to you to decided. This means we can work at your own pace and we can work together until you feel ready to end.

I currently offer face to face work in a room in Reading - It is on the second floor of the building and has a lift if you'd prefer using that to the stairs. Although the room has plenty of space, the doorways are standard size so if you use a wider wheelchair it may not fit. (I am exploring more accessible rooms at the moment, so hopefully this will change!) I also work online.

My first session

If you're interested in working with me, then I offer a free half hour consultation (usually online). This gives you a chance to meet me, ask me any questions, and you can then decide whether you'd like to continue working together, or not. I usually send my contract to you beforehand, so if you have got any questions we can go through them together. It also means I can explain how I work and, if needed, signpost you to someone else who could possibly support you more appropriately than I could. It's a relaxed chat to explore any questions and see if we're a suitable match.

If after this you would like to work together, then I will make sure you have a copy of our contract and we'll arrange a time/place that works for us both.

At this first full session we can check that you understand the contract (if we didn't do that before), and have a think about what's brought you to counselling, and what you might like to explore through it.

Supervisor - Reading

Reading RG1
Sessions from £40.00

Features

Availability

I currently have availability on various daytime slots on Thursdays (10.30-5pm) and Fridays (between 9.30am - 5pm).

I work online or face to face. My reduced price of £40 reflects the fact that I am still in training as a supervisor, but there are also costs associated with offering sessions, such as room rental, insurance etc. When I have finished training in 2025 I will review my fee.

If you need the timings of your sessions to be flexible then please get in touch and we can see whether we can find something that works (i.e. you may need a longer session, or have breaks in our session if it's too tiring).

About me and my therapy practice

I am currently training as a supervisor (Level 6 with Place2Be) - So if you are a counsellor, pastoral worker or work in another setting where you'd appreciate some clinical supervision then please do get in touch.

I chose to be an integrative counsellor/supervisor because it means that I can tailor sessions to you - and find the best way to support you as a unique individual to find a way through what it is that you want to explore.

Practice description

The standard session I offer is 50 minutes long. However, if you need that to be longer, shorter, or you would like to take a break part way through we can arrange that. It might be that you'd prefer a monthly supervision session of 90 minutes (£60), just let me know.

Generally people focus on what's happening for them right now, and bring clients that they are working with and we reflect on your process of working with them. But it is entirely up to you what we talk about and where we go - I may offer suggestions if that's helpful, but they are only ever suggestions!

I currently offer face to face work in a room in Reading - It is on the second floor of the building and has a lift if you'd prefer using that to the stairs. Although the room has plenty of space, the doorways are standard size so if you use a wider wheelchair it may not fit. (I am exploring more accessible rooms at the moment, so hopefully this will change!) There isn't any parking on site, but the building is 10min walk from the train station and close to some bus stops. There are some free 2 hour on-road parking spaces nearby, and a public carpark 10min walk away.
