Practice description
I was drawn to becoming a counsellor having worked in the Mental Health sector for over 15 years and I have seen the real benefit that counselling brings people.
As a BACP counsellor I have experience of working with many clients from all backgrounds and walks of life. I work from a genuine and caring place, tailoring my approach to help you understand all those bits of you that make you who you are and to support you to get to where you want to be.
If you feel overwhelmed and unsure about what to do next, counselling can help you feel empowered and in control. Having a space to talk openly and without judgement will help you understand your life experiences and how to move forward with any changes you want to make to reach your full potential.
My first session
In our first session, I will take time to get to know you and your story. We will cover; your current situation, your goals for therapy, and any specific challenges you may be facing.
I will also answer any questions about counselling and how it works. As well as any other questions or thoughts you may have.
By the end of our first session, you will have an idea how we will work together and if you would like to proceed.
