About me and my therapy practice
I am not going to pretend I will make all your problems disappear, I can't. But I think the key to therapy is to have someone walk your journey with you, who can understand you and sit with you when the weather gets stormy. I have been that person for many people and it would be a privilege to be that person for you. I am currently a rape crisis counsellor and a lot of my work has been focussed on this area but I am able to help with almost all life issues. I have also had very detailed workings with clients who are grieving through dementia, I have worked with kids in care and I am very much involved with the LGBTQ+ community.
Practice description
I can help anyone who has very low self esteem and who feels they are not good enough and anyone who has been impacted by trauma - this is a subject that I will always try to excel in as it is a passion of mine. I have been told by previous clients that I am warming and inviting which has put them at ease and made it easier to open up.
I am here to help, but only when you are ready. I will never come to you with an agenda or push you into talking about things when you aren't ready to talk about them. These will be your sessions, at your speed. I know sometimes life can feel impossible, lonely and dark but opening up, even if it's only a little bit might help create that dot of light.
