About me and my therapy practice
If you’re struggling right now, I can help. I specialise in helping people experiencing anxiety or stress, and can also help with issues like depression, relationships, bereavement, and anger. I work online via video.
I work collaboratively and compassionately, and always follow your lead. I’m inclusive and welcoming whatever your background, identity or experience. We can explore your experiences so you can better understand yourself, increase compassion for yourself, and become better equipped at coping with anything life throws at you.
I’ll help you learn to listen to and embrace your feelings, rather than push them away. We can explore your unique experience, your history, relationships, if there are any feelings that haven't been given a voice, and how to move forward.
As well as my psychotherapy qualification, I’ve done further training in: working online, trauma, LGBTQ+, whiteness and racism, dream work and more.
I’ve had issues with anxiety and low mood myself, and know how helpful counselling can be. You don’t need to deal with this on your own. Give me a call or email to arrange an initial session.
Practice description
I work online via video.
I currently see adults (18 and over) and normally suggest that we meet at the same time every week for as long as you'd like. We can agree a number from the outset (e.g. 6-8 sessions) or keep things more open ended. Either way I normally ask every few sessions how you feel we're progressing.
I charge from £60 per session, and each session will last 50 minutes.
Areas I can help with include:
- Addiction
- Anxiety
- Bereavement
- Depression
- Grief
- Relationships
- Trauma
Please visit my website for more information.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity to explain why you’re seeking therapy, what you’d like to get from it, if you have an idea of how many sessions you'd like, and to ask me any questions about how I work.
If you've had therapy before I may ask what was helpful about it, and what wasn't. I’ll encourage regular honest feedback about how therapy is progressing. The relationship between us may be an important part of our work together.
At the end of the first session you can decide whether to book in further sessions.
