We can all benefit from the space to focus entirely on our needs from time to time - it is not an indulgent or selfish act, but actually the most generous thing you can do for yourself. Counselling is that special place that provides you with an anchor, a place to belong and be yourself while you navigate through your experiences, thoughts, and feelings- whether you’re going through challenging times, or it’s events from the past that are stealing your joy, I am here to help you explore and engage with your past, to rewrite your future.
My name is Dilek Bozan, and I am a qualified Integrative Relational and IFS therapist providing both online and face to face therapy for adults of all ages. I accept people with a lot of compassion, just as they are, without judgement- it is vital to me to provide a safe space where you can be yourself and welcome all parts of you.
Together, we will build an alliance where you feel safe, connected, affirmed, and validated. I will be walking with you every step of your journey, empowering and inspiring you to take risks to make positive change and live the life you want to live.

Practice description
We work together to explore the transition you are experiencing: relationship issues, intimacy, relocating to a new country, adjusting to a new job or changing careers, dealing with grief or loss, coping with changes in life as we age, or dealing with traumas or worries that seem stuck. We will develop a plan for therapy, that feels safe, supportive and personalized to your hopes from the therapy.

During the consultation you will be able to ask me any questions you may have, discuss the reasons you are seeking counselling and what you want to get out of it.
If after the consultation, you would like to continue (no obligation), we can arrange to book in a date for our first session.
After the first session, we can book in future sessions, if you are happy to continue.

About me and my therapy practice
We all have our own unique stories to tell. Our stories holds significant clues about the struggles we experience in the present with our own needs and relationships. By exploring these things through therapy, we may open up new possibilities and maybe even rewrite our stories.
There is something both supportive and practical about taking some time each week to sift through the complexity of your life, and come to understand yourself more fully. What therapy provides is a space to be really heard, with the kind of attention that is deeper and more focused than that available in everyday conversations.
I offer weekly therapy, combining clinical knowledge with a down to earth and straightforward approach and I am able to help with a wide array of issues that are difficult to tackle alone.

My first session
I take great care in the initial session to explain the counselling process, explore your expectations and needs, and ensure that you really feel I am the right person to help you. After this we can commit to a further 6-12 sessions if you have a specific issue you want to work on or longer open ended work if appropriate.

About me and my therapy practice
It is my belief that counselling is not about seeking perfection, but is, rather a process towards acceptance of the whole self.
All of us are conditioned by our surroundings — our families, communities, societies, culture — without exceptions. No matter your creed, gender, colour, etc., we carry experiences from our past, tinted by the world around us.
Understanding who we are requires understanding these influences; otherwise, we cannot tease out who we are at our "core," from what we've been taught. Even if there is overlap, there is also a difference! I look forward to sifting through the layers with you.
Practice description
I am an integrative Relational counsellor, which means I combine a variety of therapeutic approaches so that as we work together I can adapt to your needs.
My first session
In the initial 30 mins free consultation session we will be talking about yourself and the issues that have brought you to counselling, and I will answer any questions you might have about counselling and us working together.
At the end of the initial 30 mins session if you decide that you would like to have counselling with me then we can agree a regular weekly time for your sessions.
