About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I am Nikita, an accredited person-centred counsellor who has a passion for supporting individuals through challenging times.
Are you looking for a safe and supportive space for you to share your thoughts and feelings? Do you want a client led approach to therapy, welcoming what is present with you in the moment in a non-judgemental way. Get in touch with me to see if what I have to offer works for you.
My experience of therapeutic work is vast and includes anxiety, depression, relationship issues, stress, self esteem issues and a general feeling of being down.
Are you needing support through fertility issues, miscarriage, birth trauma, post natal or transitioning into the challenges of motherhood. I understand each journey is unique and can support you by providing a non-judgemental space to share and be.
Are you a parent of a young person who is struggling? Perhaps you are the young person needing a friendly ear to listen and support you through difficult periods of your life. When I work with children I enjoy drawing upon various skills and techniques through an interactive manner, you will often find colouring books, games and other resources in my counselling room. Together we will explore feelings and emotions, to build resilience and work towards therapeutic change.
As a supervisor I work collaboratively and in accessible way that enables you as the counsellor to grow and develop, in a safe place. Working with me will ensure you stay grounded, maintain professional and ethical boundaries and regularly practice self-care. Together we reflect and review on clinical work to support both you as the counsellor and ultimately the clients.
I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy) and have a current DBS certificate. I work with adults and children, from the age of five years.
