About me and my therapy practice
I believe that you are best placed to understand yourself and your experiences. I see my role as supporting you to make sense of things and move towards where you want to be. I provide a respectful, sincere, and accepting space to focus on you.
Would you like to feel more satisfied with your life, get to know yourself better, work through important life events or improve your relationships? If so, please get in touch.
Therapy involves noticing and sometimes challenging how we think about ourselves, our past and how we relate to other people. Over time this awareness can empower us to be compassionate and true to ourselves and become more resilient.
Practice description
I’m a fully qualified and registered Counsellor and Psychotherapist (Dip.Co) with additional training in Online Counselling, Clinical Assessment, Mentalising, Bereavement and Focusing.
I have experience working with anxiety and stress, low self-esteem and self-confidence, grief and loss, relationship problems, depression, life changes, and the effects of past abuse and trauma. I also have many years experience working in the music industry.
Volunteering with mental health charity MIND, including delivering services for the NHS, has involved my working with people from many backgrounds, at different stages of their lives and with different questions and challenges.
My first session
If you’re interested to work with me, we can arrange a time to talk at no cost and with no pressure to commit to further sessions.
This would include discussing how we might work together and what positive change we could work towards. It would also be an opportunity to ask any questions.
Please also feel free to visit my website where you can find resources on therapy and wellbeing, including blogposts, playlists, and reviews.
