I am an Integrative Therapist working with clients on an individual or couple basis in person and online.
My work focuses on empowering you to make the changes you want, in order to live as your true, happiest self.
If you are struggling with depression, anxiety/panic attacks, an eating disorder, body dysmorphic disorder, substance abuse, low self-confidence, or trauma/PTSD, there is an alternative to feeling sad, alone, hopeless and unheard. Through therapy you can:
Build resilience & self-esteem
Heal from unprocessed trauma
Improve your self-care and self- compassion
Identify and change destructive patterns in relationships
Let go of destructive coping mechanisms
Learn how to quieten your critical voice
Understand how the past is affecting you, and how you can move forwards in life
Overcome mental health difficulties and create a joyful and happy life
About me and my therapy practice
I offer a conversational, compassionate and holistic way of working and am able to support you in navigating your way through healing and recovery. I will offer psycho-education to help you identify behavioural patterns that are keeping you stuck in life, and together we'll find a way forward.
I work with a wide range of issues but I do specialise in eating disorders, body dysmorphia, disordered eating, self-esteem and confidence issues and body image insecurities.

About me and my therapy practice
What is Emotionally Focused Therapy for couples?
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is a form of couples therapy based on the principals of adult attachment theory. It focuses on rekindling the physical and emotional bond within the relationship. Its goal is to create a safe and secure space that allows each partner to be vulnerable, to share, to comfort, to listen and to grow through any difficult or traumatic circumstance. It is incredibly powerful in healing relationships due to its intense focus on the emotional bond between the two people.
What can EFT help couples with?
-Dealing with and resolving conflict
-Better understanding one another
-Improving communication
-Dealing with trauma such as loss, grief, infidelity, infertility/fertility struggles, divorce/separation, blended families, family issues/secrets/dysfunction
-Strengthening the relationship
-Moving forward and healing past wounds
-Working through differences in attachment styles
-Letting go of unhelpful dynamics and patterns
Practice description
Having trained at the Counselling and Psychotherapy Training Academy in London, I believe that the relationship really is the therapy. We all need to feel seen, heard and understood. One of life’s greatest joys is finding meaningful, authentic connection with yourself and with others, and it is my belief that therapy enables us all to do this.
My belief is that couples therapy can transform relationships, heal fractures and strengthen the emotional bond between you in a way that you perhaps never realised was possible.
My therapeutic approach is holistic, creative, warm, accepting and non-judgemental. I aim to create a safe space where my clients feel seen, heard and valued for who they truly are, beyond their symptoms or coping mechanisms. I meet them exactly where they are and support them through their therapeutic journey with compassion.
Alongside my couples work, I also specialise in eating disorders, disordered eating, body dysmorphia (BDD) and body image.
My first session
How does the process work?
We will have an assessment session where you can share what you’d like to work on with me and understand more about the process. I offer this for a subsidised rate so you can get a feel for how I work before fully committing. It’s important you both feel happy working with me. After that, the three of us will commit to a contract together which respects the principals of the work we’ll do. EFT couples therapy is for any two people who want to work on their relationship for example romantic partners, siblings, friends, parents & children.
Please note that as part of the assessment process I will always meet with you both individually as well as together. It’s important I get to know both of you and your stories in depth so I can understand how best to help with your relationship. These sessions are charged at the individual session rate.
How many sessions do we need?
This will depend on you as an individual couple; your engagement, time, availability, commitment and budget. We will tailor the process to you and regularly review how it’s going to ensure you both get the most out of the process.
