About me and my therapy practice
It can be daunting to start therapy, whether it’s your first time or you’ve had therapy before. Opening up to someone and telling them about the things you are struggling to understand takes a lot of courage. As an experienced and compassionate therapist I will give you the space to be heard, free from judgement.
I will be alongside you, supporting you as you work through what’s brought you here. You will discover more about yourself and what you learnt about others and the world around you. I will listen, understand and gently challenge, enabling you to reflect. I may highlight patterns or offer interpretations, to enable you to see things from a different perspective or create new meaning. As you get to know yourself better a world of possibilities open up.
Practice description
As an integrative therapist, I draw from a range of therapeutic approaches to work in a way that meets your specific needs. I will draw from years of training and the latest evidenced-based research to provide you with a service that will help you move forward.
Before becoming a therapist I was a publicist working in the music and entertainment industry for many years so I have first-hand knowledge of working in highly pressurised and competitive industries.
I offer in-person sessions in Shoreditch and Mile End and remote sessions via zoom.
My first session
Following a brief initial call, we will arrange to meet for a pre-therapy meeting, this is for 50 minutes. It’s a chance for you to share what brings you to therapy now and what your hopes are. You can find out a bit more about how I work to see if I am the right therapist for you. If at the end of the session we decide to work together, we will then agree some general terms.
What I can help with
Abuse, Anger management, Anxiety, Bereavement, Cultural issues, Depression, Identity issues, Loss, Men's issues, Redundancy, Relationships, Self esteem, Sexual identity, Sexuality, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues
