About me and my therapy practice
Hi I'm Jen, I work with individuals on their relationships.
Are you feeling criticised, unsupported and let down by a partner, friend , family member or work colleague?

Practice description
I am passionate about the life changing benefits of counselling.
I have learnt through my personal experience and my own use of counselling how to successfully navigate complex relationships.
I have over 15 years experience of working with charities and have helped many individuals by supporting them through their challenging relationships.
My experience offers me an insight into your problems in your relationships.
I know the importance of understanding why problems may exist in the relationship and how to address these by building healthier communication.
I understand the impact of broken partnerships, feelings of low self-worth, bruised confidence and low self esteem and how a lack of trust brings doubt.
I have supported my clients to work through these relationship breakdowns, to make good decisions to either repair, recover or walk away.
I have helped my clients take an in-depth look at their relationship, gain understanding of their communication style and recognise their own needs in a partner/friend/work colleague.

I will offer you a non-judgemental approach so that you can explore, grow and make choices good choices about your relationships.
I will support you to discover your inner strength and resilience.
I will be alongside you as you discover about yourself and your relationships and work through any issues that may be holding you back.
How we will work together....
Establishing a connection built on trust and respect is essential in our work together. Therefore, it is important that you feel comfortable and relaxed with me.
I will offer you a quiet, neutral place to explore and work through the effects your relationship is having on you. I will be alongside, encouraging you, as you lead the sessions at your own pace to your own agenda.
As an Integrative counsellor I have a solid framework of theories to support you at rediscovering what you want from your relationship.
My first session
Our sessions....
I am offering sessions in person in my private practice in Eastbourne town centre where I have a comfortable, cosy, therapy room.
Additionally I am offering online sessions via Google Meet or WhatsApp and telephone sessions, therefore I can work with you in any location .
We will plan to work together weekly at a mutually convenient time and day. I offer short term (6-12 weeks) and longer term therapy.
