Availability
I work Monday through Thursday. I have mostly daytime availability, with some limited evenings, though these are in high demand and cannot be guaranteed.
About me and my therapy practice
I am experienced in working with trauma, particularly survivors of interpersonal violence, including sexual, domestic, and emotional abuse, as well as a range of other issues including anxiety, depression, infidelity, and suicidal ideation.
I work in a relational way, being guided by my clients' needs, and doing my best to create a warm, safe environment where you can be certain that you are not judged, but instead cared about and supported as you process the things you have been through and work on what you would like to change.
Practice description
I work in both long term and short term - some clients may only need a couple of sessions to talk through some current decisions or feelings, and others may want weekly sessions over the course of a few years. There is no right or wrong answer, and I am happy to support you for as long as you need, whether that is in person, online, or over the phone.
My first session
Before we begin the work, I offer a free half an hour long session for us to meet. This is so you can tell me a little about what's been going on, ask me any questions you might have, and so I can tell you a little about how I work. You are more than welcome to ask me any questions.
