About me and my therapy practice
Have you been experiencing low mood, feeling anxious or on edge? Are you struggling with everyday tasks, demotivated and feeling like you don’t have anyone to talk to?
Talking to me, someone who is impartial, non-judgemental and empathic can help. I am fully Person centred and CBT qualified counsellor and psychotherapist working face to face, online via video link and via phone with clients.
Through Person centred counselling I aim to empower you, support you to find stability. I provide a safe environment where you will feel heard and understood.
Taking each session at your pace, I will listen to your needs, exploring what is causing you distress and discuss ways in which you can alleviate your symptoms.
Using an integrated approach I am with you through your journey of self reflection. Using mindfulness/grounding and CBT techniques I will track your progress and providing you with support that will help you deal with the difficulties you are facing.
Practice description
I work with clients, students adults aswell as children and Young People who are experiencing bereavement, loss, depression, anxiety, low confidence and self worth.
I am experienced in working with a diverse range of clients, including people from diverse cultures and ethnicity.
I have specialist training in Trauma and Domestic Violence which provides me with the knowledge I need to support clients who are suffering or have suffered from Domestic violence and Abuse.

My first session
The first session will be me introducing myself, my approach and getting to know who you are.
I will find out what brings you to counselling and what your expectations of counselling are.
I will also introduce you to mood trackers that will measure your progress within these sessions.
We will then go onto explore what your expectations are of counselling and discuss further how we can both work together to help alleviate your symptoms.
