About me and my therapy practice
As an integrative therapist with a person-centred foundation, I am dedicated to helping you gain a deeper awareness of your unique needs and experiences. By drawing on a range of therapeutic approaches, I tailor our work to support your personal growth, guiding you towards a healthier, more balanced day-to-day life. Together, we will explore ways to move forward, build resilience, and create lasting change that aligns with your wellbeing.
I offer outdoor counselling in a natural environment that provides a refreshing alternative to the confines of traditional therapy. The openness of the outdoor allows for freer expression, and the movement of walking can help with processing emotions and engage your senses in a way that feels grounding. For those who prefer flexibility I also offer telephone and online therapy, ensuring that support is accessible and tailored to meet your individual needs, no matter where you are.
Practice description
There are many reasons why you may be looking to engage in therapy. You, or a loved one, maybe experiencing difficult thoughts or feelings. You may be going through challenging stages or experiencing loss and grief, emotional distress, anxiety or depression.
Every person is unique and complex. I offer a warm environment where there is no judgement.
My passion is to enable you to unlock your voice. To help you to unfold and nurture connections, behaviours, thoughts and feelings towards yourself and others.
I use an integrative therapy approach. This means that it has the foundation of Person-Centred Therapy and combines elements of other therapies to help with your individual needs.
The theories and models that have influenced my practice are a blend of Experiential and Psychoanalytical approaches and practices from Emotional Focused Therapy, Attachment Theory and Transactional Analysis. All of this underpins the framework of a Person-Centred approach.
We will go at your own pace and work to help you to understand your behaviours and feelings.
