Therapeutic Arts
Art as a companion on your journey through life
Personal counselling with arts & art for wellbeing workshops
'Sometimes it's hard to talk; turbulent emotions, inexplicable moods... Art needs no explanation.
In art we allow ourselves to feel and express the unspeakable stuff in colour, gesture and images.
Art doesn't judge us, it accepts us as we are, whatever our story. It provides a refuge - a safe space to heal what lives inside.'
You may be drawn to art already or you just want to find out how art can help you in facing your life's challenges.
There is a strong scientific evidence both from psychological and neuro-scientific perspective, that arts have a significant positive effect on our emotional and mental wellbeing. Art allows us to access unconscious depths of our being relatively quickly, bypassing the well-rehearsed story. It brings what needs to be healed to the surface in the form of colours, gestures and symbolic images.
Art helps us to digest painful feelings and restores balance and beauty in our lives. Creative activities stimulate problem solving processes and help us to address our challenges from new perspectives and with renewed strength.

Counselling with children, teens & vulnerable young adults
- Children, Teens, Vulnerable young people, Parents with children
Children and young people today face increased psychological challenges, due to various factors such as societal expectations, increased peer pressure, the state of the world we live in. These challenges make an imprint on their behaviour and the state of emotional & mental health.
Arts counselling is extremely effective since art doesn’t need words. The art process finds its way into the core of the problem and children/ young people work it out creatively through art.
