About me and my therapy practice
I am a person-centred counsellor (pronouns she/her), which means that our work together will be led by you. You are invited to explore what feels present and relevant to you at this point in time.
I will offer a confidential space in which we can explore the issues that you wish to work with and develop self-awareness, understanding and empowerment.
The therapeutic relationship will be central to our work together. I endeavour to offer a non-judgemental, trustworthy and supportive base on which we can collaboratively develop an understanding of what is going on for you and how we might work with it.
Inclusivity is of great importance to me and I will do my best to accommodate your needs. I am also committed to self-development around difference and diversity and, where I notice that further development in myself is required, I see this as my responsibility to inform myself as far as I able at that time.
With years of meditation experience, if it is of interest to you, we could explore using meditative practice in our work together, to place focus on areas of your life or experience in which you wish to gain insight. We might explore your embodied experience of the problem(s) that bring you to therapy or use mindfulness/self-compassion practices.
I am also able to work with spiritual development, focusing on your own spiritual inclination as opposed to me offering you a particular perspective.
Practice description
I am able to work in both an open-ended and time-limited way depending on your needs. I will be guided by your requirements.
I can work with you in-person, online (via the platform VSee or Zoom) or by telephone.
The charge for a session, which last for one hour is £45.00. Therapy is usually offered on a once weekly basis, although this can be negotiated depending on your needs.
The 30 minute initial session will be charged at £20.
I also offer a limited number of discounted rates to ensure inclusivity as best I can. This can be discussed in the exploratory session. Please do feel able to ask about this.
My first session
In our initial 30 minute exploratory session we can talk through what brings you to seeking therapy, perhaps discuss your hopes and intentions and get a sense of whether we might be a good fit to work together.

About me and my therapy practice
I am an accredited person-centred counsellor and tutor on a Post-Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling in Norwich. I also have experience of tutoring introductory courses in counselling skills.
I am offering supervision to support person-centred counselling trainees and qualified counsellors. I am also offering supervision to individuals working in a helping role who feel a supervision space would be beneficial to them.
My training in supervision was with Robin Shohet and Joan Wilmot, both of whom have contributed widely to the field of supervision, including the seven-eyed model of supervision.
I have experience of supporting trainees through their journey to becoming counsellors, working with their experience of the course and work in placement. I also have experience of being part of peer supervision spaces (both individual and group) and facilitating group supervision.
Practice description
I work within a person-centred framework and believe that the supervisory relationship should offer a non-judgemental space to explore your client work or helping role. I endeavour to offer conditions within the relationship that assist and support you to reflect openly on the difficulties and successes within your work.
We might look at your experience with clients/others, how you feel more widely and at the supervisory relationship itself depending on what feels most relevant for you. I encourage self-awareness and keep a focus on empowerment and support.
My rates are £45.00 per hour and I am able to work face-to-face and online or by telephone. Face-to-face sessions are available at rooms in NR2.
My first session
In our first session together, we can discuss how we might work together to support and develop your work as a trainee, qualified counsellor or helper. My hope is that you might get a sense of whether you feel I would be a good fit for you to collaborate with in your exploration of practice.
This first session lasts for half an hour and will be charged at £20.00
From there, if we feel we will work well together, sessions will be charged at £45.00 per hour. We can discuss the regularity of sessions and collaboratively contract around the supervisory relationship arrangement.
Please feel able to email with any questions you may have, I shall be happy to help.
