About me and my therapy practice
Hello, and a warm welcome to you. I am a dedicated and qualified counsellor and therapist. I bring a depth of experience and knowledge in both online and in-person therapy.
I have worked for both the NHS in London and the private sector with adults experiencing a broad range of challenges. Additionally, I am a lecturer on a Counselling Studies Degree.
Perhaps you need help with working through negative thoughts, a lack of motivation or with feeling under pressure, stressed, insecure, lost, fearful, confused or on the edge. Or maybe you find yourself at a crossroads in life and require some support.
SPECIALIST AREAS
Relationship issues (couples, families and individuals)
Relationships can sometimes face challenges and become confusing. This might result in feeling unheard, misunderstood, having trust issues, yearning for intimacy, and feeling vulnerable. Perhaps you are having the same arguments over and over. I can help you navigate difficult feelings within your relationships, allowing you to trust, share with others, and experience connections in a more authentic way.
Depression
I have helped adults struggling with depression, including feeling unfocused, demotivated, empty, lost, lonely and numb with no sense of direction. Working together can help you understand your experience, better manage your emotions and cope, empowering you to choose the best direction to take.

OTHER AREAS OF COUNSELLING I DEAL WITH
Self-confidence/self-esteem
Insecurities and low self-worth can impact our mental health and life in many ways. You may be suffering from social anxiety, fear of being judged negatively by others, issues around work performance, burnout, body image, or perhaps you are simply struggling to love or be comfortable with yourself. Therapy can provide freedom from a critical inner voice, helping you understand what you truly need and the inherent strength we all have.
Difficult childhood
It can be hard to put into words how difficult childhoods can affect us. Difficult childhoods can include abuse, bullying, parental separation or any number of issues. These can result in negative thoughts, a lack of confidence and vicious cycles that feel like they will never end. I can help you explore how these experiences have impacted you in order to overcome them and move forward.
How can I help you?
I will listen to you attentively and with sincerity, offering a quality of attention that will enable us to explore your situation, the effect it is having on you and how you might work through it.
Attending therapy can help you see your circumstances in a new light, gaining a more profound and stronger awareness of yourself and your relationships with others. This can enable you to realise your potential, discover a more authentic self, and find ways of moving forward.
