About me and my therapy practice

You are here because everything or some things in your life may seem too much, trying to cope with everyday life, there seem to be aspects of life that are causing you concern and you don't know and understand why.

I am here to support you if you need to untangle the 'wires' of your mind, understand a certain situation, want to make a change, find your way, or just want to grow and heal.

I can’t promise it will be easy, I cannot give you a time frame, I don’t have a special recipe but I will provide a space where you can feel welcomed, heard, understood, and safe. We are all unique, we can perceive and react to things in many different ways. It takes patience and willingness to work through.

Whether you just need to talk to someone or you need to resolve aspects of life that seem overwhelming, you can book a session and get the help and support you need to move into the future with confidence.

Practice description

I am a qualified family psychotherapist with over 11 years of experience, offering psychotherapy for adults aged 18 and over, couples, and families.

I have a broad range of experience working with various issues such as anxiety, sadness, loss, depression, health-related problems, low self-confidence, stress, grief, communication problems, difficulties related to ageing, other life cycle changes (leaving home, having a committed relationship, marriage, welcoming a baby, teenage years, moving, mid-life, end of the life cycle, unplanned life transitions, family of choice), trauma, relationship or family issues, low self-esteem, day-to-day life struggles, personal development, and more.

Additionally, I provide premarital counselling to couples.

Therapy sessions can be either short or long-term, and in our first session, I will explain in detail how we will work together.

My goal is to create a warm and safe space where everyone feels welcome and supported without fear of being judged.

Fees

Individuals: £70 (online) / £75 (in person)

Couples: £90 (online) / £95 (in person)

Families: £100 (online) / £105 (in person)

Testimonials

"Ana is very patient, kind and really takes time to understand you. She offers a lot of help, but most importantly allows you the breathing space to really think deep down and find your own answers and solutions. The tools she has given me throughout our time together have really helped me on my journey and shall continue to help way into the future."

"I am grateful for the support received, I can see a difference. Happy that I chose you, you were accepting of the nonsense I was saying during our phone call."

"Therapy is self-care-loving investment in yourself."

About me and my therapy practice

I'm glad you're seeking the support you need. Taking the first step to improve your mental health and well-being is often the most difficult but the most important.

You are here because some or all aspects of your life may feel overwhelming. You might be struggling to cope with everyday life, and some things are causing you concern that you don't fully understand. You may be wondering if I can help. Whether you've had therapy before or if this is your first time seeking help, I'm glad you're here, and I hope I can provide the support you need.

I have been working as a psychotherapist for the past 11 years, helping individuals, couples, and families from diverse cultural backgrounds through various challenges such as anxiety, sadness, stress, burnout, loss, low self-esteem, day-to-day struggles, personal growth, premarital issues, relationship or family issues, health-related concerns, career-related hurdles, changes in life stages, and parenting.

Please feel free to contact me to schedule your first session and discuss your struggles, fears, and expectations.

Practice description

During our sessions, we will explore your past experiences, patterns, and relationships. Together, we will focus on developing improved coping strategies and communication, connecting with your life goals and values, and learning new ways of addressing the underlying issues rather than just the symptoms, because all have unique responses to situations.

Sometimes, our thoughts may feel like tangled wires that are difficult to unravel. By untangling the "wires" of your mind, understanding specific situations, and focusing on personal growth and healing, you will be able to move forward and create positive changes.

As a therapist, I aim to create a safe, non-judgmental, and welcoming space where you can freely discuss your feelings, address your concerns, sort through your thoughts, and discover a path forward.

About me and my therapy practice

Life is full of ups and downs. Sounds like a cliché right? It does but the way you approach these ups and downs depends only on you. It's important to learn to enjoy every chapter of our life. Because that's what life is.

Learning how to drive through these life chapters, being aware of them, and understanding them will lead to healing and growth. We never stop learning our whole life.

I am here to accompany you on this journey of acknowledgement. Acknowledgement of feelings, situations, and what makes you react (or not) to them the way you do.

I hope my message will make you consider at least taking better care of yourself and even having therapy sessions with the right counsellor/therapist for you.

I wish you the best of luck in this chapter!
