About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced, qualified psychotherapeutic counsellor and registered member of the BACP. I work with individual adults and adolescents, offering a supportive, non judgmental space to reflect on your experiences, explore thoughts, feelings and any difficulties that you may be facing. My approach is grounded in Gestalt and Mindfulness which are compassionate, practical, holistic approaches encouraging greater awareness, self care and personal growth. I work relationally which means I bring myself into the therapeutic work sharing my responses, thoughts and feelings with you. In the work we pay attention to psychological and physical experiences and how they are connected, developing greater awareness to encourage understanding. I am passionate about working in a ‘here and now’ way to support people to expand their awareness and develop greater self care. I am experienced in working with people from a wide range of faiths, ethic backgrounds and from the LGBT community.
