Availability
I do currently have some limited day time and evening availability and would be happy to chat with you further around possible session times.
I also appreciate that life can sometimes get in the way and so I always try to be flexible around sessions where needed.
About me and my therapy practice
I specialise in helping YOU find a way through the many feelings of loss you may be experiencing, whether that’s through bereavement, relationships difficulties, or the overwhelm of just feeling lost. Together we can find a way forward for YOU.
Perhaps you are struggling with things that seem out of your control, or feelings of isolation. Maybe you have become used to giving the ‘I’m OK’ image but really struggling to carry on that persona right now? Has life for you been taking its toll, leaving you feeling sad, anxious, frustrated, angry or worthless?
I’m aware how difficult it can be to both feel you need help and even more so to ask for it. I strive to offer the space and time for you to feel heard and to allow your feelings and struggles to be truly acknowledged without judgement. Life can be really tough at times but by working alongside you, I offer support in allowing you to explore the difficulties that you are experiencing in order to move forward. Together we can talk through whatever you wish and at a pace that feels right for you.
I offer face to face sessions from an accessible venue with ample free parking and also offer online and telephone counselling sessions which can be shorter or longer term work depending on your needs. People come to counselling for all sorts of reasons, and whatever you wish to talk about I will work with you to support you in finding the right way forward for YOU.
Alongside my private practice, I am very proud to provide counselling one day a week at cancer support charity, The Big C in Norwich. I also provide counselling support for other organisations including YANA and through Employee Assisted Programmes (EAP’s). For over 10 years, I have continued to work within a Critical Incident Team of a large local authority, which provides emotional support to adults and children following a critical incident such as the death of a pupil or staff member which can affect individuals and communities in many different ways.
Practice description
I offer hour long face to face sessions from an accessible venue in Norwich which has ample free parking and also provide online sessions via Zoom and telephone counselling.
You are welcome to contact me - without obligation - if you have any questions prior to making an appointment, by telephone, text or email.
My first session
Our initial meeting will allow us to discuss your reasons for accessing counselling, how you hope counselling may help you and you can ask me any questions you may have.
It’s really important that you feel comfortable with the therapist you choose to work with. I offer a free initial 15 minute telephone conversation to find out a little more about the reasons you are seeking counselling and for us to explore what working together may be like.
