About me and my therapy practice
I am an experienced and accredited BACP-registered Psychotherapeutic Counsellor with over fifteen years’ experience of working with individuals as a Therapist, Business Psychologist and Executive Coach.
I work from a quiet and private therapy room in Crowborough town centre where there is free parking and my room is wheelchair accessible. I work with adults of all ages, students, and teenagers (16-18yrs). I also offer online sessions via Zoom.
I understand that you might be struggling with a difficult situation, a crisis in your life or emotions that feel overwhelming right now. Whatever you are feeling, I am here to offer you a warm, caring and supportive space, where you can talk confidentially in a safe, non-judgmental environment.
As a Humanistic therapist, I believe that everyone can make new choices that create the possibility of positive change in their lives, however difficult it may seem. Together we can explore your situation and the difficulties you are facing, enabling you to create change in your life, feel better and move forward. Seeking out therapy can be a positive first step in improving your relationship with yourself and others and in improving your mental and emotional wellbeing.
It is the relationship between you and your Therapist which is the most important factor in successful therapy and finding the right therapist for you is key to this. I therefore offer a free initial half-hour consultation. Please feel free to contact me on 07943 778455 to arrange this no obligation consultation.
My relevant training, qualifications and experience include: -
- Post Graduate Diploma in Humanistic Psychotherapeutic Counselling
- MSc in Counselling and Coaching
- BSc in Psychology
- Mental health training with Mind
- Certificate in Solution-focused brief therapy practice with BRIEF
- As well as my private practice, I have also worked for Cruse Bereavement Care, St Peter and St James Hospice and a low-cost counselling service in Lewes.
