At such a time it is important that you find the person that is right for you. I provide a safe, supportive, open and respectful space for you to talk confidentially without being judged and to explore what is troubling you.
You do not have to do this alone. I can help and support you in managing what is happening for you there and in moving forwards from it.
I am a professionally qualified counsellor and psychotherapist. I am an accredited member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) of the British Psychological Society (BPS), and a Professional member of National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society (PNCPS), so you can be sure you are in safe hands.
I see clients face to face and also via phone and online video consultations. A free no-obligation 20 minute initial consultation gives you the security of making contact and finding out if this is the help and support you need without having to feel committed, and without fear of judgement or criticism.
The connection you make with your counsellor is key to how you feel in the process. This allows you to find out straight away if I am the right person for you.
I will listen to you with skill and empathy. You will be able to feel fully heard and understood and to start the process of moving forwards and making positive change.
I have specialist training in dealing with stress, anxiety, panic attacks and depression.
I work using evidence based approaches with a focus on outcomes. I have experience in utilising talking therapies, mindfulness and CBT to support you in making real change happen.

My first session
My counselling gives you a safe, supportive and non-judgemental space that is completely private and protected. Here you will have room to talk without being interrupted and to say what you truly feel, without having to worry about how this might impact on the thoughts and feelings of other people in your life.
Being able to talk in this way can be a very liberating experience and will often begin a process of allowing space for long buried thoughts and feelings to come out. This gives you room to finally understand and acknowledge how and why things in your life have come to feel the way that they do.
Bringing this out into the light then gives you power over it, allowing you to understand all those factors that influence and affect you, and thereby to know what you working with when bringing about change.
With understanding and expertise I will support you through this process, ensuring that you feel seen and heard in your experiences and in how this takes you forwards.
