About me and my therapy practice
I value the potential of every human being to change and continue learning throughout their lifetime. I will provide an empathic and non-judgmental environment where clients feel safe and accepted. I am willing to help you to explore and accept the entire you. You can be yourself and follow your heart.
Practice description
I am a person-centred therapist. Our approach is based on the belief that, with the right conditions, each of us is capable of self-healing and personal growth. The goal of this type of therapy is to create an environment of compassion and empathy, in which difficult feelings or experiences can be explored safely.
Person-Centred Psychotherapy can help clients to identify and utilise their own strengths, and to reconnect with their inner values and sense of self-worth. Person-Centred therapists facilitate this process by offering their clients unconditional acceptance, and listening to their experiences with understanding and without any judgment.
My first session
As a Person-Centred therapists, I will not try to change your thinking or tell you what you should do. Instead, our specialist training enables me to create a relationship which supports your process of self-exploration and self-acceptance, and in which you can experience psychological growth. The goal is to help you in making the decisions that are right for you.
During the sessions, I may rephrase your words or ask questions to help me to understand you more fully, but the goal is not to judge or interpret what you are saying. By reflecting your own words back to you, we hope to assist you in gaining a deeper understanding of your thoughts and feelings. Sometimes there may be moments of silence during sessions, which can help to allow your thoughts to flow in.
