About me and my therapy practice
Hi my name is Matthew. Thank you for reading my profile. I hope I can help resolve whatever is troubling you. I provide a safe, gentle space to talk, with no judgement. If we agree to work together, I can modify and tailor therapy according to your wishes and needs, taking into account your expectations and requests. My focus is on collaboration towards a goal.
It can be hard finding the right therapist, but it can be rewarding and life-changing. You may wish to have a safe space to explore issues and reflect on patterns, discovering new, more functional ways of relating to your past or present, or you may request practical tools to help you manage mood now and in the future.
My work is confidential, supervised regularly and I continue to keep informed of new developments and research within the field of mental health. My training is both psychodynamic and cognitive-behavioural.

About me and my therapy practice
Hi my name is Matthew. I hope I can help resolve what is troubling you. My style is warm and free of judgement. I can either give you the space to talk, or if you would rather not revisit painful memories, or require advice and techniques, there is plenty of useful work we can do. I am experienced working with anxiety, generalised anxiety, depression, shyness and social phobia, relationships, loss, abuse, betrayal, self-esteem, anger, or if you are simply stuck, or lacking motivation. Healing comes about through insight, understanding and acceptance but also change: if you want something more active and future focused, then I can also offer qualified advice, therapeutic exercises and activities supported by the evidence base.
