About me and my therapy practice

Hello, I'm Caroline. I help women of all ages and backgrounds through life’s challenges to enhance their emotional and spiritual well-being, with a focus on anxiety and women’s issues.

I’m experienced in working with women and…

Anxiety | Cancer | Burn out | Depression | Divorce | Domestic abuse | Infertility | Life transitions | Menopause | Mid-life issues | Peri-natal issues | Relationships | Spiritual exploration | Stress | Trauma

Person-centred therapy is at the heart of how I work. I specialise in you. I meet you where you are; collaboratively exploring your needs and goals so we can create a space that is most helpful for you.

I have experience working within an NHS IAPT Talking Therapies service and hold a NICE-approved qualification in PCE-CfD. This is a specialised way of working with emotions, depression and anxiety.

When appropriate, I may offer psycho-education to help you understand what you might be experiencing and practical ways to support you; this could be tools or exercises to help you manage and cope better in daily life.

Practice description

Counselling is self-care. It is a good way to safely explore your emotions, free of judgement; helping create a more authentic you that feels calmer, more harmonious and better able to cope with even the most difficult times.

Do you often feel overwhelmed, anxious or stressed?

Are you feeling sad or lonely?

Do you experience panic attacks or have low self-esteem?

Perhaps a fear of not being ‘good enough’ is holding you back?

Perhaps you feel a little ‘off’ and are curious if counselling can help…

Maybe you’re struggling with whatever it means for you to be a woman, how you manage your life and how you relate to others. Whatever you’re going through, I’m here for you, to help you make sense of your world, no matter how complicated or messy it may feel. I'd be honoured to have the opportunity to work together and explore your story and what changes you’d like to make in your life.

I trust in the power of creating a therapeutic relationship with you that supports healing and growth and that by working together, can make the changes you need to shine your brightest.

My first session

It’s important to know that counselling can be helpful for everybody – not just those referred by their GP or experiencing severe mental distress.

Working together puts you in control of what you want to explore, when and for how long. Sometimes issues you disclose in session can feel painful yet being with you on your emotional journey, can enable a shared experience, offering an opportunity for greater self-awareness, reflection and potential, positive change.

Considering counselling is a brave step towards helping yourself and committing to your self-development with counselling takes courage. You're welcome to book a FREE 15-minute chat with me via my website to check if we're a good fit and ask any questions you may have. Simply choose a time & day to suit your schedule.

I’m here when you're ready and I look forward to connecting with you.
