About me and my therapy practice
When one of life’s problems becomes overwhelming, you may be feeling anxious or distraught, it can make a real difference prioritising your needs and talking to a counsellor who can listen to you with compassion and without judgement.
Life can feel challenging at times, stressful and full of uncertainty; are you struggling to cope with work or family life? Has life set you back? Or are you looking for some peace and calm in your life?

Practice description
My therapy room is based in Exeter city centre for Face-to-Face, online and telephone counselling.
I can also offer walk-and-talk therapies & home visits, please feel free to contact me for more information.
I have completed additional training to ensure my practice meets and exceeds the standards set by BACP and I have taken the extra steps to ensure your privacy.
I offer a professional, supportive, confidential and non-judgemental experience, allowing you to explore any issue you wish to bring to therapy. I am an approachable, open minded and down to earth person and I aim to make you feel safe, listened to, valued and understood so that you can build self-awareness, self-compassion and self-acceptance.
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor, which means I use a combination of approaches enabling me to offer you tailored therapy using a variety of methodologies to suit your needs and give you tools needed to cope now and in the future.
My intuitive approach is underpinned by a humanistic and holistic model that puts you as the expert to explore the tensions within. We will work together to form a trusting and genuine relationship which will facilitate growth and help you to work through challenging times in your life. You are more than just your struggles, insecurities and pain.
My background in the corporate world has given me extensive knowledge, skills and experience of the stresses and challenges of the business world and my training has helped me develop strategies to incorporate them into everyday life, to make life more manageable, and improve your mental wellbeing.
Driven by my keen interest and background in neurodiversity, I have undertaken additional studies to deepen my understanding of counselling and effectively working with individuals facing challenges related to ADHD, autism, dyslexia, dyspraxia and dyscalculia.
My first session
I offer a free 15 minute telephone consultation so you can find out more, ask any questions and work out if counselling with me is right for you.
If you decide to have counselling sessions with me, we will spend the first session discussing why you have come to therapy and what goals you want to achieve.
I believe the therapeutic relationship holds the key to the healing process, so I will try to make you feel as comfortable as possible.
