About me and my therapy practice
I am a fully trained and registered Psychotherapist/Psychodynamic therapist with a Foundation degree in Therapeutic Communications and Therapeutic Organisations, a BA in the same course and an MA in Psychodynamic Counselling all from the University of Essex. I have worked therapeutically in various settings including therapeutic children’s homes with young people and young adults with emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD), primary and secondary schools and in private practice.
I have extensive experience of working with children, adolescents and adults who have experienced a wide range of emotional and behavioural difficulties. These are not limited to but include: depression, anxiety, stress, anger, phobias, obsessive compulsive behavioural disorder, body dysmorphia, panic attacks. My work has also encompassed working with clients who have experienced trauma as a consequence of one or more of the following: disability; loss; separation; neglect; emotional, social and economic deprivation; physical or sexual abuse.
I offer an individualised integrative approach tailored to meet the needs of each client. I believe that this is important as every case is unique. By using a clear and focussed approach to therapy clients can see some improvement in their lives quite quickly and together we can decide what the right course of action is for you.
I offer a confidential session as a first step - this can be done face to face, over the phone or via video call.
For those parents or carers who are worried about their children or teenagers and think therapy may help please don't hesitate to contact me.

About me and my therapy practice

I have worked therapeutically in various settings including therapeutic children’s homes with young people and young adults with emotional behavioural difficulties (EBD), primary and secondary schools and in private practice.
I have built a very reflective attitude and outlook through my studies and experience of supervision to develop personal resilience and an aptitude for dealing with challenging and potentially distressing, highly emotional clinical work. It is something I am both passionate about and enjoy.
