My name is Marco Lee. I have been working as a counsellor since 2017 and also a BACP registered counsellor in the UK. I would like to help you work on the struggles you are facing; and offer you a safe space to explore your thoughts and feelings. My counselling style is pretty laid back. I have been described as supportive, caring, and compassionate. I like to focus on identifying your mental health issues and helping you to cope with your obstacles. I am here to help you sort through the things that are difficult right now, and offer you a safe space to be open and honest without fear of judgement. Practice description
This is a talking therapy including video meetings, telephone chat and message chat, but I do not do the messaging. In the therapy, a safe environment is offered where you take the lead to talk about your feelings and your thoughts about your issues. When you can express your feelings and thoughts of your issues with non-judgemental manner, it helps you understand how you feel about your current situation and you are able to find your way to cope with it. Therefore, it is important for us to work together to help you find your own solution, rather than giving you advices or suggestions. In addition, my therapy is integrative and I will make my discretion to adjoin the additional techniques including emotional freedom techniques, CBT and mindfulness are effective approaches that help you cope with your mental health problems.Types of therapy

About me and my therapy practice
I am a registered counsellor with BACP. I work with a person-centred approach that means I will offer you a safe environment with non-judgemental manners, congruent and acceptable manners to build up therapeutic relationships. This is helpful and important for you to be open and is able to explore your insight. Thus, you are helped to find a way to understand your emotions, thoughts and behaviours when you are dealing with your difficulties and emotions, such as anger and anxiety. I will focus on the most destructive one that you have and continue to explore about it to find the best solution for you. My plan is to work with you together to break down your issues in a small piece and help you to get your priority one in an autonomic way. In case of need, I may use an integrated approach to help you to focus on here and now with a tapping method which is associated with Chinese acupressure to help you change negative thoughts into positive. I believe my approach is the best model for helping you to become a person again in a safe and friendly environment. You will develop confidence and self-value so that you are capable of dealing with your problems.
