Practice description
I will work with you to create a warm, therapeutic, empathic, non-judgemental and confidential space. I believe developing a relationship with you is central to working collaboratively and effectively.
Maybe this is the first time you've decided to come for counselling, or you're returning to explore further. What ever the issue(s), counselling enables you the space to explore and work with your feelings in the here and now.
Therapy offers a space to heal and I firmly believe we can all improve our relationship to self and with others.
"Human beings in their essence are born in connection, they are hurt when they feel disconnected, and healed again in re-connection".
Hedy Schleifer, 2019.
Many of us strive to have meaningful connections with others, but haven't experienced such relationships ourselves.
I can help you to improve your relationships regardless of your past experiences.
Whether you're experiencing a disconnection, conflict, betrayal, or other relational issue, I can show you techniques that will enable you to reveal a deeper understanding of the relational dynamics and the emotions that often travel alongside. Working with you, I will aim to get to the roots of where you are stuck and help you to create lasting change.
We can work on a short or long term basis with the emphasis being led by you.
My first session
Finding the right counsellor can be daunting process and therefore I offer a free 30 minute online initial consultation.
