About me and my therapy practice
Hello and thank you for choosing to read my profile. This is a scary and difficult time for many with lots of uncertainty, at the moment.
Sometimes life can become overwhelming giving you situations that you did not see coming. Which can make day to day life hard to handle. Making life more difficult than usual where we struggle to make sense of what's going on. You may even feel stuck at the moment and you may not have nobody to talk to. Counselling offers a confidential/safe space where you can be open about any issues you are experiencing that are troubling you.
There are also many types of counselling. I am trained to use the person centered approach. Which means I will walk with you through your journey to ascertain what is troubling you. It is a non-intrusive form of counselling we will take the journey together and at your pace.
Taking the first steps to ask for help can be difficult and my experience has taught me that the relationship between the client and the therapist is fundamental to create a positive change. To be free and honest in a safe space can be empowering in a two way relationship with no judgement.
Taking the first step is sometimes the hardest thing to do, I speak from personal experience. Our work together is to develop a therapeutic relationship to enable you to feel supported throughout your journey.
Please feel free to ask me any questions especially if they stop you asking for the support you may need
