About me and my therapy practice

Life can easily become overwhelming with the noise of the world around us, it’s often hard to find the time or the space to know what’s going on for us. In a world where we have become so used to online living I am aware of the huge worth in one to one, face to face connection. As a therapist I offer a confidential space each week to allow us to reflect together on what is going on for you.

As an Integrative Therapist my work is holistic and I pay attention to the different ways we experience the world around us including mind, body, emotion and spirit. We are all unique in the way we both experience the world and how we make sense of our lives in it, so I work with a range of models to suit different needs including Gestalt, Existential, Person Centred and Embodied therapy (including body-orientated therapy, wild therapy and somatic experiencing).

Having previously worked in very pressurised and fast paced environments, I have been able to benefit from therapy hugely. As part of my own training, professional development and personal growth I have experienced many years of talking therapy as well as body therapy, group therapy and spiritual therapy. I feel this is extremely important as a therapist when you are asking people to be vulnerable with you; I have experienced being a vulnerable client and know how hard it is to bare all. Although scary, it can be hugely rewarding to give yourself the space to be heard to as well as listening to yourself.

Existential, Gestalt, Humanistic, Integrative, Person centred, Phenomenological, Relational

How I deliver therapy
