About me and my therapy practice

As a Relate trained Relational Specialist keen on mental health support, I am dedicated to providing integrative, personalized therapy sessions tailored to your unique needs. My passion lies in exploring the impact of family life on relationships, reigniting the spark for women experiencing low desire, and offering support through divorce and relationship breakdowns. My approach fosters a kind, open-minded, and non-judgmental environment where you can freely explore your needs, hopes, and desires.

I have extensive experience working with individuals and couples, particularly professionals juggling work-life demands and parents navigating post-children relationship challenges.

I also would work with clients to manage their stress levels and improve overall mental health.  This is usually focused on alleviating stress, anxiety, and depression by understanding their physical origins and providing practical, solution-focused strategies to manage symptoms effectively.

I have spent nearly 10 years in counselling and psychology, working  within both Relate and private practice.  This has given me the opportunity to have diverse caseloads and work with a number of different clients to address their individual needs.

I like to utilise solution-focused techniques to offer practical help and advice for managing mental health symptoms.

I have over 20 years of experience in science and healthcare as a biomedical scientist in both the NHS and private sector,  this gives me a unique skill set to help you facilitate change.

Changing careers from science to mental health gave me a real insight into the difficulties that come with not only changing career but change in general.
