About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Lorraine
I am a professional psychotherapeutic counsellor person centred trained who integrates different approaches by working remotely online or over the telephone with clients within the UK.
Individual counselling
Sometimes working with the following to help you with;
If you experience Grief, Loss and looking for Bereavement counselling. With difficult emotions often finding space to speak with a trained professional therapist can make a difference. You will feel less alone in the situation as you start to talk about feelings and emotions.
If you are experiencing symptoms of anxiety, social anxiety, health anxiety or depression and would like to talk to a trained professional therapist.
If you want to talk about Neurodiversity and how this impacts you and the world around you. I believe in Ally-ship.
If emotionally there are times you feel almost triggered and don't know why and want to deepen self-awareness.
If you want to establish boundaries perhaps for the first time and start to take responsibility and accountability for life.
If you have overwhelming thoughts coming and going, feelings of hopelessness, sadness, shame, loneliness, low confidence and low self worth. Perhaps struggle with perfectionism, avoidance, low motivation, anxiety and stress are holding you back and you wan to work on these areas.
You experience procrastination all the time, from unhealthy relationships and keep repeating these patterns, not knowing how to make changes for the better.
You feel there is little trust or boundaries, struggle with communication and need a space to unpack and share emotions with no judgement or criticism from a professional therapist.

About me and my therapy practice
Hello, I'm Lorraine
Most client find me from 'word of mouth' recommendations and here online. I work with clients in the UK.
I'm a Psycho-therapeutic counsellor grounded in the person centred approach. BACP registered, NCPS Accredited.
I have a special interest in adversity and transitions in life, such as grief and loss, unexpected events, cancer and health problems and many more...We can explore what makes the situation harder and what can be done to make it better.
Worth mentioned is my understanding of Holistic Health, Sound Therapy and Deaf culture. Working an an Audiologist for over 25 years means I am able to work with hearing impairment, have excellent communication skills and clear speech. You will be met with a mature professional person and met with warmth right from the start.
Testimonial; July 7 2022 K.V
"She was truly amazing....To have someone walk beside you on a road to self discovery and recovery at a time when you are in crisis is both revelatory and profound. Lorraine was my support and guide on this road and she was truly amazing in the fact that she helped me find the tools and strength needed to continue on that road, aware of my own needs, accepting self love and trusting my own instincts. She’s great!"

I am an Accredited Supervisor (NCIP- Level 7). PCA trained using a Hybrid approach incorporating different models to suit your needs.
I work F2F TR1-Cornwall and online nationally (UK)
My way of supervising encompasses my person centred way of being but incorporates a broader, more psychodynamic view of relationships allowing me to work with Parallel processes and transference in pursuit of what is best for the client and supervisee.
