About me and my therapy practice

I am a compassionate and experienced therapist offering a safe and non-judgemental space to help you work though any issues you are experienceing. I work with clients to provide support with anything that is negatively impacting their lives. Therapy can really help you to identify and work through issues and implement positive changes in your life.

It can be daunting to decide to reach out for some support and confusing to decide on the right therapist for you. I want this to be as easy as possible for you and therefore offer a free 15 minute Zoom consultation where we can discuss what is going on for you at the moment and see if we would be the right fit for one another.  The relationship between therapist and client is an important factor is facilitating change and I offer a warm and supportive environment to assist with this.

The therapeutic process can enable you to emerge as a stronger version of yourself. Sometimes just feeling heard & understood in a space that's free from pressure & judgement can be the first step in making positive changes in your life.

My aim is for you to leave counselling in a better place than you entered it, feeling more secure and better equipped to deal with any issues that come your way.

Practice description

Based in London and Hertford, I offer a warm and supportive environment to help you work through any form of problem or issue you may currently be facing. Anxiety and stress are everyday factors in life and I believe that therapy can help to manage and reduce the associated emotional pain and mental suffering.

I worked in the Financial Services in London for many years before deciding to retrain to become a psychotherpaist. Have benefitted from therapy myself, I know just how life changing it can be and wanted to help others in a similar way.

I trained at Regents University in an intergrative way, this means that I have experience in the different approaches to modern psychotherapy. We are all so different as individuals, I believe therapy should be tailored accordingly. Together we can help explore your experiences, the choices you have made in life and the struggles you may be facing.

My first session

It's common to feel worried or unsure about what to expect from therapy, especially if it's your first experience. I offer a complimentary 15 minute Zoom session for us to "meet" one another before the first session to help you feel at ease.

Following that I offer a welcoming and non-judgemental environment for us to explore together what is negatively impacting you and help you work towards feeling happier and more fulfilled in your life.

I have been trained in an integrative way which means I have experience in each of the main modalities of psychotherapy. My approach in the way I choose to work is primarily in an existential way. Aiming to help you explore your lived experience, the choices you make in life and the struggles you may be facing.
