About me and my therapy practice
Hi, my name is Andrew. How are things going for you? Want to take a minute to talk? It can be good to be heard. I am here to help you without judgment and help to find ways through it to a better, healthier place.
I am guided by the belief that you are the expert in your own life, and through counselling can explore and grow in knowledge and understanding of your own experiences and situation.
Currently, I can work with people from the age of seventeen years old upward on this.
How does that sound to you?
Although my background is in psychodynamic practice, I am not wedded to one particular theory, instead believing that different methods and interventions work for different people.
Given all of us have our particular emotional issues and histories, appreciating, understanding, and owning our life story is central to taking hold of right now and the future that unfolds from it. So helping you to that point is what I aim to do.
