About me and my therapy practice
I experienced counselling myself as a young person. This for me was life-changing. Ever since, I have been on a mission to make sure young people don’t go through the same challenges that I went through and feel alone. I understand how important it is to find a therapist you feel comfortable with, which is why I offer a free initial telephone consultation.
I offer a warm, compassionate and confidential approach for you to explore and process life events. I can provide you with a safe place to offload, find coping strategies, and help you gain fresh insight into whatever you are dealing with.
Experience:
I am a highly qualified, experienced, BACP accredited counsellor working successfully with children and young people (aged 8+) and also adults; with challenges such as anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, self-harm or relationship or family issues.
I also have experience working with adults and children in the bereavement sector, both in charity and hospice settings. Having provided therapy for a wide range of people and issues, I'm generally happy to work with whatever you may bring.
My qualifications include:
- BACP Accreditation
- Postgraduate Certificate in Counselling Supervision at The Manchester Institute for Psychotherapy.
- MSc Counselling and Psychotherapy (Distinction) at Keele University- BACP Accredited course
- BSc Psychology (Hons) - The University of Central Lancashire. (First Class Degree)
- Ongoing CPD training
Please feel free to contact me by phone, text or email to find out more. I aim to respond to client enquiries within 24 hours.
