About me and my therapy practice

In our work together, Psychosynthesis will be at the heart of the journey. This approach recognises that we all have different parts within us—each with its own voice, feelings, and needs. Some of these parts may feel in harmony, while others might seem in conflict. Through gentle exploration, we can bring more understanding, balance, and connection to these different aspects of yourself.

How We Might Work Together

1. Parts Work

There may be times when you feel pulled in different directions—one part of you may feel confident and capable, while another may feel uncertain or afraid. By listening to these parts with curiosity and kindness, we can explore what they need and how they can work together, rather than against each other.

2. Visualisations

Sometimes, understanding doesn’t come through words alone. Visualisations can help you connect with deeper parts of yourself, offering insight, clarity, and a sense of inner guidance. They can also be a gentle way to process past experiences and imagine new possibilities for the future.

3. Creative Drawing

You don’t need to be ‘good at art’ for this—it’s simply another way of expressing what’s within. Through drawing, colours, and shapes, we can explore emotions and thoughts that might be hard to put into words, allowing space for new understanding and self-discovery.

4. Being in Nature

Nature has a way of bringing us back to ourselves, offering a sense of stillness, perspective, and connection. Whether we spend time outdoors or simply draw on nature as a source of reflection, this can be a valuable part of the process.

However we work together, my aim is to create a space where you feel supported, seen, and free to explore whatever arises. This is your journey, and I’m here to walk alongside you.

Practice description

Practice Description

I offer a supportive and compassionate space for those struggling with challenges such as mental health issues, anxiety, depression, and trauma. I also have experience in working with the unique difficulties that can arise from being neurodivergent in a neurotypical world, recognising the importance of feeling understood and accepted in a society that may not always accommodate different ways of thinking and experiencing life.

Therapy can be more than just working through difficulties—it can also be an inner journey towards self-mastery. In our work together, I draw on approaches such as:

• Internal Family Systems (IFS) – Exploring the different parts of yourself to bring greater understanding, balance, and healing.

• Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) – Identifying patterns of thought and behaviour that may be keeping you stuck and finding ways to shift them.

• Psychosynthesis – A holistic approach that encourages self-discovery and integration.

The therapeutic relationship is at the heart of the process, providing a safe and trusting space for exploration and healing. I also encourage a connection to nature and creativity, as these can be powerful tools in rediscovering a sense of wholeness and vitality when life feels overwhelming or fragmented.

Wherever you are on your journey, I am here to walk alongside you, offering guidance, support, and a space for deep self-exploration.

My first session

How We’ll Work Together

I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation to see if we’re a good fit for one another.

If we decide to work together, we’ll begin with an initial contract for six sessions, with the first session serving as an assessment.

After these six sessions, we can review and continue the work on a rolling basis, adapting to your needs as we go.
