About me and my therapy practice

My name is Ella and I am a therapist based in London. You may be struggling with anxiety, social anxiety, stress, depression, overwhelm, feelings of loneliness, significant loss and grief. Maybe you are struggling with important relationships in your life and don’t know how to express and communicate how you feel. Perhaps your struggle is not that clear and you have a feeling that something isn't quite right. I can help.

Experiences such as anxiety, stress, unease in life can be symptoms of something deeper going on. Often, the deeper emotions can be trapped, not accessible or have never been said out loud. We will build a relationship that allows you to explore anything you’ve not yet been able to explore. We will find what works for you.

I can help you find confidence, clarity, understanding, self-esteem, a way to express yourself and find meaning in an increasingly demanding world. Clients find me kind, honest and insightful. I'm active and present in sessions. I will offer thoughts and reflections where appropriate to help you deepen your self-awareness and find self-compassion.

I also work with couples. I can help you both explore ways you can better communicate, feel seen and heard by each other and tend to your relationship.

The best way to know if we’re a good fit is to have a brief call or an initial session. If you are interested in working with me then please get in touch. I offer a completely confidential, non-judgemental and accepting environment whatever your concern may be. The initial session is an opportunity for us to meet, explore what you may need and how we could work together. There is no obligation to make a commitment beyond that.

Practice description

I have an integrative approach and use several modalities depending on what your therapeutic journey may need; Psychodynamic, Psychosynthesis, aspects of Internal Family Systems and Gestalt.

While the past is important, it will not be the only thing we focus on. I work with the here and now; working with feelings, thoughts and bodily sensations.

I tend to work with clients on a long-term basis so that we can really get to the source of the struggle, find ways to create healing and deepen your understanding of yourself. I am also available for shorter-term work if there is something specific you would like to focus on. I work on a weekly basis and I am currently working face to face and online. I have a consulting room in Central London EC4.

My first session

The initial session is an opportunity for us to meet, explore what you may need and how we could work together. I will ask questions to get to know you, your background and what brings you to therapy. It's also an opportunity for you to get to know me and to ask any questions you may have.
