About me and my therapy practice
I am a compassionate Integrative Counsellor working with adults on a range of issues including anxiety, depression/low mood, bereavement, loss, trauma, anger management, self-esteem and relationship difficulties.
Sometimes in life you experience difficult situations that can leave you feeling stuck, low, avoidant, anxious or overwhelmed. You may be struggling with something that happened in your past, or a current issue at work, home or in your relationships. Or perhaps you just don't feel quite right but can't figure out why. If this sounds familiar, talking to someone might help.
Whether you are looking for short-term or longer-term therapy, I can offer you the time and space you need to feel heard and understood. Whatever you decide to bring to your sessions, we will take things at your pace. Anything you share with me will be treated with care, sensitivity, respect and without judgement.
As an integrative counsellor, I draw upon a range of models and strategies to create an approach that is most suited to your individual needs. Working holistically and collaboratively, I can support you to gain an understanding of your present situation and past experiences, to enable you to develop greater self-confidence and awareness.
For any therapy to be successful the relationship between client and therapist is key. To support this, I offer a safe, empathic and confidential space to explore your feelings, thoughts and behaviours. Together we can work out a way forward.

My first session
For some people the thought of starting therapy can be daunting, whilst others welcome it as an opportunity for self-care and development. Whichever group you fall into it is important to find the right therapist for you.
I offer a free 20-minute telephone consultation to discuss any questions you might have, find out why you are considering therapy and what you would like to achieve. We will also discuss how we might work together, to find out if we are a good fit.
If you decide you would like to work with me I will book your first session, where we will complete a more detailed assessment to find out more about you. Sessions last 50 minutes and frequency is arranged on an individual basis.
