About me and my therapy practice
I provide a space for you to explore your feelings and work through your challenges from within a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space.
These challenges maybe due to the uncertainty of current events, a longer term difficulty and/or a diagnosed mental health condition. Whichever it maybe, we will work at a pace that is right for you to gain a deeper understanding of your self, your relationships and to help you work towards a more peaceful mind.
My experience in working with neurodiversity allows me to recognise and adapt my working practice where necessary.
Practice description
I work both remotely and face to face. For remote sessions it is important you have a quiet and confidential space where you feel safe to share, without feeling at risk of interruption or being overheard by others. If you have any questions or concerns about remote work, please do not hesitate to ask.
As a registered member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I work to the professional standards set out in the BACP's Ethical Framework,
Aside from my Counselling and Psychotherapy practice I also work mentoring young adults suffering with mental health challenges, and/or managing leaning disabilities in education.
My first session
The first session is an opportunity for us to begin to explore what has brought you to counselling, your expectations and to see whether we feel we would like to work together.
