I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation as an opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have, speak about availability and get a first feel of what it might be like to work with me.

About me and my therapy practice
When life feels overwhelming, it can be difficult to find space to focus on yourself and what’s on your mind. Counselling is an opportunity to slow down, to share and reflect on what might otherwise get lost in the rush of daily life.
Life can challenge and test us and often we cope well, adapt and get on with things - that is, until we don’t. This realisation may come suddenly and without warning, while at other times it may creep into our life in slow, almost imperceptible stages like a slow trickle of water that eventually is powerful enough to hollow out a stone.
You may be experiencing:
- Recurring thoughts or worries that take up a lot of space in your mind
- Overwhelming or confusing emotions and feelings
- Struggling to make decisions or get things done
- Wanting to run away from unpleasant feelings and seek distraction in work, Netflix, alcohol, sport or social media
- “Getting on with things" or "putting on a face" start to feel difficult
- Not wanting to share how you’re feeling with people close to you for fear of being judged or burdening them
I offer a confidential counselling space that is entirely focused on you, your experience and your self-care. Together we can begin to turn towards what feels difficult with intention and gentle curiosity to gain deeper understanding of what is happening for you and what needs attention and a space to be heard without judgement.
Is this your first time thinking about counselling?
The thought of starting counselling might feel really daunting especially if this is your first experience of counselling. Together we will take it step by step at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
