About me and my therapy practice
I understand the challenge of finding the right therapist to work with, which is why I recommend starting with a free telephone consultation to determine if we are a good fit.
I work with clients to help them process and resolve their issues, finding lasting solutions to their problems. Deep down, the person you are meant to be is waiting to emerge, so let's unlock that potential and move forward with clarity and purpose. I use numerous therapeutic approaches including CBT, which is very successful when working with clients who are experiencing feelings of:
• Anxiety and panic attacks
• Depression
• Drug or alcohol problems
• Low mood
• Health Anxiety
• Obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
• Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD)
• Relationship and family issues
• Self-harm
• Sleep problems
• Stress
If you are seeking a path forward in life, value true peace of mind and purpose, and are ready to unravel the mystery of your unhappiness to create lasting change, maybe we can work together. If you desire understanding and a sensitive yet practical approach to exploring your issues, don't hesitate to reach out. Together, we can design the life you aspire to lead.
Practice description
It’s nice to know what to expect in the sessions, a typical CBT session may include:
- Working through your problems with me to explore what is happening in your life and looking at your thoughts, feelings, and behaviour.
- Reviewing what was done in previous sessions and discussing the progress you have made so you have a path forward.
- Agree on what techniques would be most helpful that week to work on.
Outside of the sessions, CBT may involve activities for you to do. This could involve filling in worksheets or keeping a diary.
I provide a therapeutic experience in a safe space where you can share your story and feel heard with compassion and understanding. I work with individuals daily who are struggling with anxiety, and depression. Together, we work to break free from these cycles by utilising therapy techniques. Through this process, I teach coping strategies and emotional resilience that can truly transform your life.
