About me and my therapy practice

I will work to establish a connection, a correlation between us. That is the fundament of my therapy, so I offer a free 15-20 minute assessment for both of us to see how well we work together. I will then work at your pace, listening rather than bombarding you with questions, so that we can both make sense of the issues you bring to the work.

I have also been working as a counsellor for young people since 2018, and am experienced in making a therapeutic connection with a young person who may find the environment unusual. I do this through talking but also through art, sport or fun.

I have a Certificate in Adoption Counselling (2023) from Bernardo's, enabling me to work with adoptees, adopters, birth family or adoption workers.

I have completed Continuing Professional Development from BACP in working with autistic clients.

Practice description

I have a private room away from the street in my home in Ramsgate.

My first session

I offer a free 10-15 minute consultation to see how well we connect to one another. This can be in person, by video or telephone. If at this stage you wish to begin the work, we will sign a contract and the work begins in earnest the following session.
