About me and my therapy practice
If you are feeling anxious, depressed or unable to cope, counselling offers a new perspective and the opportunity for change.
I currently offer counselling online, by telephone and at my practice room in Hawkhurst, Kent.
By knowing ourselves better, we are better able to live more honestly and productively and cope with life's difficulties. This enables us to recognise and acknowledge what we can control, while also learning to accept what we can’t.
Counselling helps us tolerate life’s ups and down better, to enhance our self-knowledge, improve our relationships, and give up old habits and repetitions that no longer work for us.
Working collaboratively, I will help you find your own answers, so that you can be more constructive in the ways that you manage your feelings and behaviour and can live life more fully, freely and meaningfully.
Counselling can help
If you are suffering from stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression or finding it hard to cope.
If you have experienced any kind of loss, bereavement or trauma.
If you are struggling with personal or family relationships.
If you are having problems adjusting to change, perhaps through redundancy, retirement or illness.
If you are facing a problem that is hard to talk about.
or if you have a more general negative feeling about life and don't understand why.
Practice description
Making a start
It is understandable that making the first call or sending the first email may feel difficult.
After a first contact by phone or email, we can arrange an initial meeting, without obligation, whether it is online, by telephone or face-to-face, where we can explore together whether counselling is right for you, and whether I am the right person for you.
Counselling sessions are weekly, last for 50 minutes and cost £50.
Evening appointments are available.
