We are made up of years of experiences; some sad, some happy, some testing, some traumatic, and some even devastating. There's a reason for everything that we do, think, and feel. We are informed by our experiences. Do you find that your brain just won’t switch off? Do you feel that no matter how much you try and change patterns the same things happen again? Let me help you. You have the tools within you to ride the waves of the rough seas - you just need someone beside you whilst you navigate that. I use a mind-body approach which means we sit with the effect that stress/trauma can have on our whole system. Our thoughts can trick us - our nervous system can’t. By combining the two we acknowledge and explore all of your experiences; cognitive and somatic. It isn't just 'talking' - it's discovering who you truly are on a deep level and finding a way to move forward and develop the resilience and determination that is within you!
I am an experienced and qualified psychotherapist, and I work with women aged 18+. If you are affected by distress, sadness, low mood, suicidal thoughts, depression, or anxiety - please get in touch. I specialize in working with those struggling with bullying, trauma, attachment issues, narcissism, neglect, family issues, domestic and sexual abuse; including child sexual exploitation - but will sit beside anyone who needs support.

Practice description
The areas that I cover:
* I have a counselling room in NN6 for face-to-face work. This will be where my workshops, women's circles and networking events will be held.
* Currently Countrywide for remote working only whilst awaiting my new premises. (Telephone/Online via ZOOM, Facetime and WhatsApp).
