About me and my therapy practice
I work with you. We work together. Moving through pain from the past, repeated in the present, is hard on our own. Together we have a much better chance to identify what we are looking for. Alone it’s like going through a dark attic, tripping over the same things each time, but together, we can see more. I can hold the flashlight and be with you while you do what only you can do.
I trained in Transactional Analysis, and have since embraced several other models.

About me and my therapy practice
If you want to change something about the way you are in relationships, start by recognising how the patterns of life can seem to repeat. Once that is possible, your response can change too. You can deepen your understanding of your triggers, soothe your anxiety, work your way through depression and have the experience of living that you long for.
I work with you. We work together. Moving through difficulties from the past, repeated in the present, is hard on our own. Together we have a much better chance to identify what we are looking for. Alone it’s like going through a dark attic, tripping over the same things each time, but together, we can see more. I can hold the flashlight and be with you while you do what only you can do.

Hello, I’m Paul.
My life experience is wide and varied, I’m a qualified National Trust Ranger, I passed my Masters level Transactional Analysis training and now I’m qualifying as a supervisor. I’m a musician, a painter and sculptor and I have a dog. I’m also a parent, a brother, a son, a partner and a friend.
I started training in 2014, and had my first clients in 2016, as a counsellor at MIND. I then worked with Cruse bereavement care and then with Change Grow Live.
I started private practice in 2018, and I’ve never looked back.

Supervisor - Tunbridge Wells
Features
- Flexible hours available

Availability
I have spaces for group and individual supervision in my rooms in Tunbridge Wells. A three hour group of three therapists and myself is the optimum size, meeting once or twice monthly, typically. These are suggestions, and individual needs will be different, so a degree of flexibility is available. I work with trainees and experienced therapists, in comfortable surroundings in the Old High Street, next door to a good coffee shop.
About me and my therapy practice
I enjoy supervision, and encourage those I work with to do the same. It can be a transformative process, once we get to know how to use it, and when feel safe with the group or supervisor. I value getting to know my group or one to one supervisees, so that we have accurate radar for triggers and flags that indicate potential transference in the therapy room, as well as developing sensitivity to the phenomenological echoes in the supervision. We attend to our supervision from a leaning that in terms of therapy, getting it right or wrong is eclipsed by sharing what actually happened, and together, finding the meaning of it.
Practice description
Knowing something about you and how you work, why you trained and what is in your process, is important in supervision, as it helps the supervision process. Every client you see will have a different impact upon you, as each one is a unique relationship, as individual as the relationship we too will have. Becoming attuned to the echoes of relational music between each layer of the client / therapist / supervisor relationship, is the art of our adventure, and being open to another point of view, the equipment.
My first session
In our first session, I will ask about you, where you're working or training, perhaps in placement, and what you need from supervision. We discuss how best to support you and what might get in the way.
