About me and my therapy practice
I am an integratively trained and BACP accredited psychotherapist with several years NHS and private practice experience. I aim to foster a confidential, non-judgemental and empathetic space that allows you to explore and understand whatever it is that has led you to therapy at your own pace. My integrative training allows me to be flexible and adaptable with my approach as I feel that therapy is not a one size fits all endeavour.
Having been trained in relational psychotherapy, I believe in the healing power of good relationships. A good therapeutic relationship can allow you to work through and integrate emotional injuries and past experiences in a way that is beneficial to you. In our sessions I would gently encourage you to explore possible links between your past and present experiences, your emotions and your patterns of behaviour. I feel that gaining insight in to ourselves, our inner worlds and our relationships with others allows us to move forwards with more self-compassion, understanding and meaning.
If you feel that you would like to get in touch, then please drop me an email to arrange an initial assessment session. We can also schedule a brief introductory phone call if you would like. The initial session allows us to discuss what has brought you to therapy, but also allows you to get a feel for me as a practitioner and whether you would be happy to work together moving forwards.

Anxiety, Bereavement, Depression, Health related issues, Loss, Relationships, Self esteem, Stress, Trauma, Work related issues
