About me and my therapy practice
Child and family therapy in West London.
I specialise in supporting families and work with children and young people aged between 4 and 24 years who are experiencing social, emotional or behavioural difficulties. I also work with parents individually and can offer support or consultation sessions to help navigate the often complex world of mental health services. My training and experience allows me to work in an integrative way which means I offer counselling based on psychodynamic, systemic or attachment principles. My work is also informed by other evidence-based treatments such as mindfulness and CBT.
Practice description
I’m a psychotherapist qualified to work with children, young people and their parents. I have over 25 years of experience working with children, first as a secondary school teacher and more recently in a therapeutic capacity in a primary school, an NHS clinic and in private practice.
I work with a wide range of issues from mild difficulties which may simply require some advice or short-term support, to more complex problems which need a more open-ended therapeutic approach.
