About me and my therapy practice
I am a qualified integrative counsellor. I work holistically and flexibly. I pay attention to every individual as a whole person, adapting the way I work to suit your specific needs.
I believe in the therapeutic role of nature in connection to physical, emotional and mental well-being, healing, recovery, support, challenge and personal growth.
I use a variety of interventions and strategies, with an emphasis on creativity, nature and the natural environment, to provide a warm, empathic and safe environment where you can address your needs at a pace that suits you. I aim to support you to explore and reach your desired potential.
If you are interested in knowing more, please email me. We can arrange a time to chat on the phone to discuss your counselling requirements.
Practice description
I offer:
- Face to face counselling - in NW5.
- Walk & talk therapy - meeting with you outside, in a natural environment. We walk and talk, using nature to facilitate discussions, observations and activities. I work in local parks and heathlands.
- Online (remote) counselling – via video on Zoom, telephone, email, or WhatsApp chat.
I have experience in bereavement, loss, anxiety, depression, addictions, relationship difficulties, identity issues, spirituality, faith issues, trauma, parenting, fostering, special educational needs, diet, eating difficulties, nutrition, health and exercise.
My first session
The first session will be a consultation either in person, by telephone or online (e.g. over Zoom) and will last 50 mins.
This is to find out if we’re a good fit for working together. It is an opportunity for you to ask questions about me and how I work.
I’ll ask a number of questions to find out a little more about you and your background, to explore your reasons for seeking counselling and discuss with you your expectations of counselling.
We can then assess whether I am well placed to help you, and you can assess whether you feel I am the right therapist for you.
We can then decide if we want to proceed and how.
