About me and my therapy practice
** ONLINE SUPPORT **
I am a qualified Integrative Therapist, trained to provide a range a therapeutic approaches to ensure you are heard and the right support is offered. These approaches include (though not limited to) Psychodynamic, Person Centred and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I have over 18 years experience of working and supporting individuals and families through a range of complex challenges, working in an accepting and compassionate way.
The challenges individuals face can often feel insurmountable. I have experienced how working in a collaborative and supportive environment can enable people to adapt and make the changes they want to see. I am a Hintsa Performance Certified Coach, and regularly support athletes through a range of challenges - specifically in areas of high stress. This work has lead me to undertake training with 'TRE for All' (Trauma / Tension Release Exercises) with whom I am working to become a Certified TRE provider.
Amongst other areas - I can help with stress and anxiety, OCD, bereavement, depression, loss, shame, identity issues, self esteem, relationships and work related issues.
As your therapist you can expect me to listen, understand your needs, and be non-judgemental as we explore the difficulties that you are facing. I work within the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) Ethical Framework for good practice. With the unique interests and needs of my clients in mind, I maintain my professional competence through continuous personal development and work ethically within my practice. I have personally experienced the positive impact of the counselling and therapy process and practice in a way that is accessible to all – recognising the differences, unique qualities and gifts we all have.
